Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital (ZJPPH) was established in 1984 as a large comprehensive Grade 3 Class A hospital directly under the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission and a teaching hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. It ranked 25th in the 2022 national tertiary public hospital performance assessment, maintaining A+ rating for five consecutive years. The hospital currently operates four campuses (Zhaohui, Wangjiangshan, Yuecheng/Shaoxing, and Bijie) covering a total area of 186,000 square meters with over 3,000 open beds. As one of the first pilot hospitals for multidisciplinary tumor diagnosis and treatment in China, it leads provincially in minimally invasive surgery, organ transplantation (heart, kidney, bone marrow, and cornea), critical care medicine, and interventional diagnosis and treatment.
